Lamella Clarifier Sedimentation Tank Equipment for waste water treatment plant

The lamella clarifier, also called an inclined plate sediment tank, is a high-efficiency combined type settling tank. By setting many dense inclined tube packings in the sediment area, suspended impurities in the water settle as water rises through the tubes. The separated sludge slides down to the tank bottom by gravity and is discharged in concentration.

This design improves sediment efficiency by 50-60% and increases treatment capacity 3-5 times in the same footprint area. It typically utilizes flocculants to enhance the accumulation of suspended solids or floc alum flowers into thin sludge layers.
