Screw Press Introduction

Volute Sludge Dewatering Machine is a new technology of dehydrator (TPDL) which belongs to the screw press. It can effectively replace traditional machines like belt presses and frame presses. It is designed to be clog-free and can significantly reduce the need for sedimentation tanks and sludge thickening tanks, thereby saving sewage plant construction costs.

Structure Principle

The wastewater is pushed into the dewatering machine. The sludge moves toward the sludge cake outlet under the pressure of the helical axis blades. As the gap among the helical blades becomes narrower, the sludge bears heavier pressure and begins dewatering. The water is discharged through the spaces between the fixed and moving plates.
