⚙️ Product Description

The sludge cake hopper is a collection and storage device for the dewatering sludge cake after dewatering equipment. The sludge cake will be input on top and discharge at bottom. The hopper body is designed to resist bending stress by inside pressure. When the sludge reaches a certain amount, the valve at the bottom of the hopper will be opened to discharge the sludge cake to the truck directly.

The type of sludge hopper can be selected and confirmed according to the project site requirements.
It can be equipped to store sludge cake produced by screw type sludge dehydrators, belt filter presses, centrifuges, and plate frame filter presses.
Main materials available: Carbon epoxy anti-corrosion paint, SS304, or SS316L.

In newly built sludge dewatering rooms, the dehydrator is typically placed on the second floor, allowing the sludge hopper to be fixed on the second flat floor for direct discharge into garbage trucks below.
For ground-level placement, a scaffold is used to raise the hopper, ensuring sufficient height and width for truck entry and exit. Sludge is fed into the hopper via a shaftless screw conveyor.
