SS304 DAF System DAF-001 for Wastewater Treatment
Introduction
The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is an efficient water treatment equipment. It can effectively remove suspended solids and oils in wastewater. By separating these substances, it simultaneously reduces BOD, COD, and TSS levels. This makes it highly suitable for treating wastewater from various industries, including textile, paper-making, slaughterhouse, food, and chemical industries.
Suspended surface hydrophilic and hydrophobic particles can be separated using flotation. Hydrophobic particles easily attach to the surface of the bubble. Hydrophilic granules can be rendered hydrophobic by proper chemical treatment. Dissolved air flotation in water treatment commonly uses coagulants to form colloidal particles into flocs with a network structure, making it easy to trap bubbles and enhance flotation efficiency.

Technical Drawing & Operation
The wastewater enters RT1 (coagulation reaction tank) and RT2 (flocculation reaction tank) where it reacts with PAC and PAM respectively to form flocs. Then, microbubbles adhere to these flocs in the DAF tank, causing them to float. Scum is scraped to the slag tank while clean water is collected and discharged or recirculated.
Focusing on one-stop water & wastewater treatment equipment and separation services, we provide industrial equipment and systematic solutions including static screens, rotary drum screens, lamella clarifiers, dissolved air flotation, screw presses, and integrated sewage treatment machines.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the primary function of the DAF system?
The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system is designed to efficiently remove suspended solids, oils, and grease from wastewater, effectively reducing BOD, COD, and TSS levels.
What material is the DAF-001 model made of?
The system is constructed using high-quality SS304 (Stainless Steel), ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion in various industrial environments.
Which industries can use this equipment?
It is suitable for a wide range of industries including municipal sewage, slaughterhouses, textile, paper-making, metallurgical, and chemical industries.
How does the flotation process work?
By dissolving air in water under pressure and releasing it, tiny microbubbles are formed. These bubbles adhere to suspended flocs, causing them to float to the surface for easy mechanical removal.
What is the treating capacity of the DAF-001?
The DAF-001 model has a reference treating capacity of 1 cubic meter per hour (1 m³/Hr).
What quality control measures are in place?
We ensure quality through a pre-production sample before mass production and a final inspection of all equipment before shipment.
