Introduction of Pig Manure Dryer

The pig manure dryer can transform fresh manure with a moisture content of approximately 65% (or other slag) into an odorless granular product with a moisture content of less than 13% through a systematic process of feeding, high-temperature drying, dust removal, and cooling. This end product serves as a vital raw material for organic fertilizers or animal feed.

Key advantages include exceptional operational flexibility, low drying costs, strong adaptability, and high reliability. The system handles large capacities with low fuel consumption, featuring high resistance to overload and a smooth-running cylinder for rapid drying via high-temperature hot air.

Manure Drying System

Scope of Application

Suitable for materials with 50-85% moisture content, including chicken manure, cow dung, organic fertilizers, sludge, bean dregs, starch residue, sauce residue, corn kernels, cassava residue, brewery grains, straw, and pasture. Drying technologies are customized based on biomass characteristics, production scale, and automation requirements.
Application Scope

Key Features & Benefits

  • Comprehensive Processing: Achieves moisture levels below 13% while ensuring disinfection, sterilization, and decomposition.
  • Nutrient Retention: The resulting fertilizer is rich in nutrients, containing Nitrogen (2.6%), Phosphorus (3.5%), Potassium (2.5%), crude protein (16-25%), and organic matter (45%).
  • Green Agriculture: Ideal for pollution-free green food planting or as direct feed for livestock and fish.

Working Principle

The system consists of a heat source, feeder, rotary drum, discharger, material crushing device, induced draft fan, and unloader.

Material Flow: Wet material is dehydrated to 65% then fed into the mixing drum. Internal flights shower the material through hot air streams to maximize heat transfer efficiency. A specialized cleaning device prevents material from sticking to the drum walls.

Air Stream: Air is heated in a furnace to 600-850ºC. This hot air evaporates moisture as it flows through the drum, eventually discharging at 55-65ºC after triple-layer heat transfer. Dust and moisture are purified via cyclone and wet collectors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: To what level can the manure moisture be reduced?

A1: The system can reduce moisture from approximately 65% down to less than 13%, making it suitable for granular fertilizer production or animal feed.

Q2: Does the drying process remove odors and bacteria?

A2: Yes. The high-temperature drying process includes disinfection, sterilization, and decomposition, resulting in an odorless and safe organic product.

Q3: Is the final moisture content of the material adjustable?

A3: Yes, the final moisture content is typically around 15% but can be adjusted according to your specific requirements.

Q4: What heating sources can be used with the dryer?

A4: The dryer can be equipped with various heat sources, including hot air furnaces reaching temperatures of 600-850ºC to ensure rapid evaporation.

Q5: Can this machine handle other types of waste?

A5: Absolutely. It is highly versatile and suitable for chicken manure, cow dung, sludge, bean dregs, starch residue, cassava residue, and other biomass materials.

Q6: How does the system prevent material from sticking to the drum?

A6: The dryer is equipped with a specialized drum cleaning device and internal flights that keep the material moving and prevent buildup near the wet material discharge.
