Principle of Operation

With regard to the structure of tube bundle dryer, a rotatable heating tube bundle is installed inside the fixed shell. Steam flows into the tube via the rotary joint for heat transfer, turns into condensate and then is discharged. The moisture in the material is heated outside the tube and turns into steam and then is discharged by a negative pressure fan.

The material is threw away in the tube bundle by shovels, evenly falls to the outside surface of heating tube, and is pushed from the feeding inlet end to discharging outlet end to achieve good drying effect. Economic and gentle drying is achieved by contact with the tubes and convection. The heat source is typically saturated steam between 4 - 10 barg.

Key Advantages
  • No Pollution: Drying only with indirect steam and sweep ambient air ensures product purity.
  • Energy Efficient: Low energy consumption in the range of 1.25 to 1.3 lbs of steam/lbs of water evaporation.
  • High Recovery: Optimal sealing and insulation optimize energy recovery up to 67%.
  • Safety First: Minimized oxygen content ensures lowest explosion and fire risk. ATEX design available.
  • Eco-Friendly: Integrated dust collector minimizes emissions to the atmosphere.
  • Modular Design: Low installation costs through pre-manufacturing.
