Product Description

Sludge is a type of industrial waste generated during municipal sewage processing. High moisture content, high viscosity, and low calorific value often make industrial utilization difficult. Our advanced sludge rotary drum drying system is designed specifically to address these challenges, reducing moisture to less than 25%.

This technology has reached full maturity, offering stable operation and convenient maintenance. The system prepares sludge for landfill standards or incineration processing, making it a sustainable choice for modern industrial waste management.

Slurry Drying System
Applications: Suitable for activated sludge, petrochemical sludge, papermaking sludge, printing and dyeing sludge, tanning sludge, electroplating sludge, municipal sludge, biological fermentation residues, and various high-humidity materials.
ETP Sludge Dryer

Working Principle

The system consists of a hot air furnace, scattering feeder, belt conveyor, rotary drum dryer, outlet conveyor, draught fan, dust collector, and deodorant device. The process involves six critical zones:

  • 1
Feedstock Zone: Wet mud contacts high-temperature air to rapidly evaporate moisture; lifting flights prevent bonding.
  • 2
Cleaning Area: Specialized devices break mud into 20-40mm pellets, increasing heat exchange surface area and preventing wall sticking.
  • 3
Main Drying Zone: Loose granular mud undergoes full heat exchange with hot air via radial slanting flights.
  • 4
Beating & Breaking Zone: Mud particles are further reduced to 10-20mm, significantly lowering moisture.
  • 5
Enhanced Drying Zone: Small granular mud absorbs remaining heat to reach the final moisture requirement.
  • 6
Outlet Zone: Material is rolled and glided to the discharge opening, reaching a final moisture of 20-25%.
